MobileInstallation 2.2 is Here!
So I went ahead and patched my MobileInstallation for FW 2.2.
Since I couldn’t find any online yet I posted it online for people.
**Must be upgraded to 2.2, follow same instructions under the 2.1 guide**

**If you are waiting for the 3G Soft Unlock then please DO NOT upgrade to 2.2, it contains an updated baseband**
With FW 2.2 being out now the iPhone Dev Team has release all their tools to update/jailbreak the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. Please remember this isn’t for the 2nd Gen iPod Touch yet.
If you have NEVER JAILBROKEN your device please use this:
PwnageTool (For Mac Only)
If you HAVE JAILBROKEN your device before then you can easily use these:
QuickPwn For Mac
or
QuickPwn For Windows
If you are a Windows user needing to PWN (JailBreak) for the First time please either:
1. Wait for WinPwn to be released
or
2. Call up a buddy with an iMac, or MacBook and have fun Pwning
It is confirmed: iPhone FW 2.2 Released Today
Firmware update 2.2 is released today, weighing in at 240mb’s.
Updates include a lot of cool new features.
One including Google Street view.
If you have a JailBroken iPhone/iPod you know the routine don’t UPDATE VIA iTUNES, or youll lose your hack and the third party apps will not work.

Good News For WinPwn Users?
Since the release of Firmware 2.1 for the iPhone we all had to call up a buddy with a mac to use pwnage tools to JailBreak and update to 2.1
Then the iPhone Dev team released their Quick Pwn for mac and Windows, but for people that haven’t JailBroke their devices before they still need a mac first.
Well with Firmware 2.2 being released…I think today? or Tomorrow, I happend to wonder onto Winpwn.com to check for an update.

Free Over The Air Contact Syncing!!!
Hey!!! Are you tired of using pencil and paper to write down your contacts everytime you restore your phone?
You like How mobileme pushes out and syncs your contacts over that air, but hate that its 99 a year. Yea the 20gb’s of webspace and other features are nice…but worth the $99?
Well!!! Download sync in a blink from the appstore! Syncs your iPhone contacts to a gmail account, then syncs the gmail account back to your iphone.
Of course its not true push or OTA, you have to manually hit sync, but hey!!! Beats paying $99 a year for MobileMe just for contact syncing.
Also! If you download the hacked version of Sync in a Blink please remember you need to install the mobileinstallation hack first.
