WinterBoarding Part 1 (LockScreen and sliders)
The WinterBoard article’s have now begun. We started off easy with simple images, such as wallpapers, lockscreens, text message background, and sliders.
So please enjoy and remember the ONLY way to comment if you get lost and need help is to register and ask.
Remember…this is just the beginning…in part two is custom icons, custom txt bubbles, and custom battery while charging images, custom badge image, and also where to put your Custom System Strings file so you dont need to change any stock system files.

A Quick update, A video on how to create free custom ringtones for your iphone using itunes is now up.
The video is a bit blurry so please following along with the Text and Screen Shots and use the video incase you get lost.
The Video clocks in at 1 minute which means its still the best quickest way to create ringtones without the need for third party software.
How To SSH into the iPhone
Before we begin on how to WinterBoard you MUST be familiar with how to SSH into the Device.
Also remember you need to create an ad-hoc network to connect your iphone and pc onto the same network.
This guide is taken from Cydia under “OpenSSH Access How-To”
1: Install the OpenSSH package from cydia.
2: open Wi-Fi from settings.
3: click your networks > button
4: read the “IP Address” Field (Example 192.168.1.100)
5: Open your SSH program (WinSCP on Windows, Terminal on Mac and Linux)
5a: Command for Terminal is ssh root@ip address
5b: For Windows type the IP Address into the Hostname field, and Root into the username field, alpine is the default password..
6: Once you hit enter, or connect wait a few, it’s generating security certificates.
7: Accept new computer host key.
8: Log in with password alpine
